30 Sep Kaitlyn Evans and Elliot Wilson Recognized as Tobey Auto Athletes of the Week
Sidney, OH – Chris Tobey, President of the Tobey Auto Group, was happy to present Kaitlyn Evans from Piqua High School and Elliot Wilson from Sidney High School with this week’s Tobey Auto Group Athletes of the Week award. Kaitlyn and Elloit were chosen by their respective schools because of their excellent performance both in the classroom and on the field. Both Kaitlyn and Elloit also have a great commitment to serving their community. As a part of the award, they will both receive a $250 scholarship from the Tobey Auto Group at the end of the school year at the awards program and will also be eligible with other chosen student athletes of the week to receive a $5,000 scholarship at the end of the year.
Kaitlyn maintains a 4.84 GPA. She is a member of the Piqua varsity soccer team. Kaitlyn also juggles a heavy volunteer schedule that includes serving at the local library, the Premier Health PT department, and the Science Olympiad, the Academic Challenge. She is secretary of NHS (National Honor Society), and a member of Link Crew, Interact Club, and job shadows for a behavior analyst.
Elloit has 4.37 GPA. He is the captain of the Sidney varsity soccer team and was a 2014 GWOC North Honorable Mention for soccer. Eloit is also the 1st VP of the Student Government, a member of the NHS, and he served on a missions trip to South Dakota with St. John’s Lutheran Church. He also volunteered for the winter coat drive.

Each week the Tobey Auto Group will recognize two students chosen by their respectful schools during the Thursday Night Lights football broadcast produced by FOX45 News. By the end of the 2016-2017 school year a total of $10,000 in scholarship money will be awarded in support of our local student athletes.
